The complex contains the main building of the palace, Divanhane, the burial-vaults, the shah mosque with a minaret, Seyid Yahya Bakuvi’s mausoleum, a portal in the east – Murad’s gate, a reservoir and the remnants of the bathhouse. You will leap back in time by taking little walk before visiting the Maiden Tower. The Maiden Tower also known locally as Giz Galasi, located in the Old City, Baku, in Azerbaijan, was built in the 12th century. Together with the Shirvanshahs’ Palace, it forms an ensemble of historic monuments inscribed in 2001 under the UNESCO World Heritage List of Historical Monuments as cultural property. Juma Mosque Located in the historic Icheri Sheher, the mosque has been rebuilt several times. The present Friday Mosque was built in 1899 under the financing of Baku merchant Haji Shikhlali Dadashov. A minaret, constructed in 1437, adjoins Friday Mosque.

This is one of the largest known concentrations of petroglyphs and is located on the Gobustan State Preserve. Rock art provides a window into the past rituals, beliefs, and artistic abilities of its creators. Because of its scientific, aesthetic, and religious significance, Gobustan become most popular state park and a valuable mine of Azerbaijan. The famous Afurdzhi waterfall on Velvelichai River is included in the list of “Monuments of Azerbaijani Nature” and is protected by the state. There are other waterfalls too, attracting tourists and travelers with their uniqueness and originality.
