Its name speaks for itself – Flame Towers, that is, “fiery” or “flaming” towers – these are three giant buildings, shaped like tongues of fire.
The highest buildings in Azerbaijan, which are visible from anywhere in Baku, in their design and, most importantly, in their evening illumination really resemble a huge bonfire raging in the west of the city, on a high hill, illuminating everything around with its reddish glow. The view is indescribable, but what is even nicer is absolutely free. Every evening on the facade of the Flame Towers complex LEDs turns on, constantly broadcasting the movement of the fire. This stunningly spectacular spectacle, coupled with the huge size of the towers, turns the buildings into three giant torches.

Today, the towers house the luxurious Fairmont Baku at the Flame Towers hotel, as well as office space and residential apartments. The construction of the complex was carried out for almost five years, from 2007 to 2012, although it was originally planned to finish the buildings by 2010. By the way, despite the seeming absolute identity, the buildings have a different height – each higher than the previous 20-30 m – their height is 140, 160 and 190 m.

Address: Mehdi Huseynzade Street, 1a. The easiest way to get to the towers is by the funicular, although you don’t have to do anything directly at the base of Flame Towers if you didn’t stop at the local hotel. The best view of the “Burning Tower” opens from the embankment.
